JUMP Sorority Beads “The more women help one another, the more we help ourselves. Acting like a coalition truly does produce results. […] Any coalition of support must also include men, many of whom care about gender inequality as much as women do. […] I believe that if more women lean in, we can change the power structure of our world and expand opportunities for ALL.” These words that Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook COO, wrote in her book “Lean In”, exemplify what the meaning of the Sorority beads is: commitment, solidarity and support towards the life and the career of another Woman. Offer this bead to a Woman whose career you commit to support. Every time she sees it, she will remember that someone believes in her and in her skills. How to order? Orders are accepted for a minimum of 10 beads (€ 1 VAT excl. per bead). Please order by e-mail and tell us the quantity you want: email@example.com. We will send you a customised offer including shipping costs. Please note that beads will vary from the pictures shown as each bead is unique and handmade and specific colours or designs cannot be ordered. How to use it? Take it always with you where you can see it daily – like in the wallet, key chain or bag zip – this will remind that someone believe in you. Please note that beads will vary from the pictures shown as each bead is unique and handmade and specific colours or designs cannot be ordered. Where They Come From? The beads are unique as they are hand-made individually from Italian Murano Glass by Tibetan women in exile. By buying them you also become part of a social enterprise, creating employment and financial independence for these refuges who now live in Dharamsala in the north of India. The production of the JUMP Sorority Bead was coordinated by Madi Sharma.
